With the new CT3, SINGLE is consistently advancing its refrigeration technology. The compact chiller has been designed for industrial applications in the small to medium capacity range and combines a space-saving design with precise temperature control, high operational reliability and a system design optimised for energy efficiency.
The CT3 is designed for processes with temperatures ranging from −20 °C to +80 °C and achieves a temperature accuracy of ±0.1 °C. This makes it suitable for applications where constant process conditions, reproducible results and reliable heat dissipation are crucial. Depending on requirements, the unit is available in air- or water-cooled versions.
R290 (propane) is used as the refrigerant – a natural refrigerant offering high performance. With a charge of less than 150 g, this eliminates the need for, amongst other things, an annual leak test and classification in ATEX zones. The series is also designed with a long-term perspective in mind, taking future regulatory requirements into account, as it meets the requirements of the F-Gas Regulation even beyond 2027. This provides operators with a solid basis for investment planning and the long-term operation of the system.
Controlled motors, tried-and-tested hydraulic components and robust refrigeration technology ensure reliable operation in continuous industrial use. At a flow temperature of +10 °C, the unit achieves a cooling capacity of 4 kW; a heating capacity of 3 kW is available as an option. In addition, the CT3 series enables comprehensive documentation of process parameters, thereby creating greater transparency for reproducible processes.
