SINGLE's customers are primarily plastics processors and manufacturers of plastics machinery, die casting technology, the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as customers in testing and semiconductor technology.

1955

Development of the first temperature control system by engineers from Presswerk Schwaben.

1968

As a spin-off of the temperature control device division from Presswerk Schwaben Otto Single KG pressing plant, Gerhard Single establishes SINGLE Temperiertechnik GmbH.

1970 

Launch of the first generation of water and oil-temperature control Systems.

1980 

Launch of water-operated temperature control systems with pressure overlay at heating temperatures of up to 200°C.

1990

Realignment of core product range with a focus on customized systems and OEM solutions.

1996

Delivery of the first temperature control units to customers from the semi-conductor testing industry.

2003

Relocation to new Hochdorf facility.

2006

Take-over by Looser Holding AG, Winterthur/Switzerland. Strong focus on internationalization of sales activities.

2007

Company moves into the die-casting market and taps new areas of application for temperature control systems.

2008

SINGLE establishes US subsidiary SINGLE Temperature Controls, Inc.

2011

SINGLE establishes Asian subsidiary SINGLE Temperature Controls (Shenzhen), Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, P.R. China.

2012

Capacity expansion through second site in Hochdorf; implementation of a logistics centre.

2015

Single Temperiertechnik: Takeover of the business of Durotherm - New Single Distribution GmbH founded. The Single Temperiertechnik GmbH, part of the Swiss Looser Holding AG, takes over the business operations of the German trading and distribution company Durotherm.

2015

Management Buy Out from Looser Holding AG. The majority owned by Tim Talaat Swiss Industrial Holding AG takes over the shares in the Single Temperiertechnik GmbH on the newly founded Single Holding GmbH.

2017

Modular Line market launch The temperature control systems from the new Modular Line offer flexibility and high availability across the entire product range. The line convinces by an excellent price / performance ratio with short delivery times.

2018

The single group celebrates its 50th anniversary with a big ceremony on the company premises.

2019

Smart Line networks the 4.0-capable SINGLE temperature control units on a single platform.

2021

Single Polska is founded in Jastrzębie-Zdrój near Katowice, Poland as the second production site of the SINGLE Group.
